I really appreciate your clarification about not setting outcomes – it’s so true and really important that anything we can do as facilitators to create a process or ecosystem that is open to taking risks can mean a lot for the participants and those watching with a critical eye. I think, as you say, remaining open to creating projects together is hugely important, whether “together” means individuals, organizations, departments, governments, etc.

Clay’s shirt was the first thing I noticed – it’s kind of…metallic. 🙂

– Not setting outcomes and letting experience emerge. This reflects a research based mindset which is really helpful in encouraging risk taking.

– Looking for really good ways of releasing experience and ideas from a community. It is very hard, but so important.

Both these things rely on a vital curiosity about what things can be created together.
